CULTURAL RESOURCES
MANAGEMENT

Wiregrass Archaeology is a cultural resources consulting firm that provides professional cultural resources management (CRM) services throughout the Southeast. Our primary office is in Mobile, Alabama, with satellite offices in Smyrna, Georgia, and Dothan, Alabama. We work primarily in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi on all types of projects.  If you have a Section 106 project that needs a cultural resources survey and are looking for a CRM firm that does good work, completes the work on time and for a reasonable price, then give us a call or email.  We look forward to the opportunity to help make your project successful.

We also provide ground penetrating radar (GPR) services, deep testing, and high-resolution aerial imagery throughout the country.

If you are looking for a job, we are always looking to hire, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.  If you like our swag or need custom swag for your business, contact Darby at Honey Bee Tees.

How do we study hurricanes using archaeology? You can find out in this video by Motivation Media and USA CAS.  Sarah Price explains how we understand past storm events by studying soils.

Hamilton Bryant explains what a normal day on an archaeological dig looks like and why we do it. This footage features several sites we excavated in Mobile, Alabama, in partnership with the University of South Alabama for Alabama DOT.

Archaeology helps to explain changing landscapes.
